Calculating Child Support
Child Support is an important factor in the divorce process. We understand that all family law issues are emotional and difficult to deal with, especially when children are involved. Arizona has child support guidelines which are put in place to effectively determine child support.
There are several factors to consider when calculating child support such as education expenses, extracurricular activities, health care, individual’s gross income, child care costs, children’s ages and more. The Court’s will determine which party will receive child support based on who is awarded primary custody.
In addition to the factors listed above, the Court will also take into consideration special needs/extraordinary children, and older child adjustment. We believe that the child’s life should remain as routine as possible; nothing should be “taken away” from the child due to lack of child support. This is why you need aggressive representation.
This is an extremely emotional time for you and your family, it is important that you contact an attorney to protect you and your children’s rights. It is our job to take on the stress of the situation, aggressively represent and protect you.
