Alex Lane

Alex Lane is committed to helping those accused of criminal offenses. His practice is exclusively in the criminal defense area. Mr. Lane graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. After college, he worked for Landmark Education as a production and finance manager. He then returned to Arizona and received a law degree from the University of Arizona and a M.B.A. from Arizona State University.
After law school Mr. Lane worked as a prosecutor for three years. As a prosecutor, Mr. Lane handled a full range of cases including theft, DUI, identity theft, forgery, fraud, domestic violence, aggravated assault, and drug cases. Much of this time was spent in the Vehicular Crimes Bureau in the Major Crimes Division of the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. The Vehicular Crimes Bureau prosecutes vehicular homicide, aggravated assault, and felony DUI cases. As a prosecutor, Mr. Lane completed 27 jury and Superior Court trials.
Mr. Lane then started as a defense lawyer for a major criminal defense firm in Phoenix. While there, Mr. Lane defended individuals charged with crimes including domestic violence, DUI, aggravated assault resulting from DUI, drug trafficking, drug possession, weapons charges, appeals, and petitions for post conviction relief.
Alex Lane takes each case very seriously and is dedicated to helping people accused of committing crimes.
